Aude Seb     

Sébastien Rist and Aude Leroux-Lévesque are Montreal-based documentary filmmakers. Their first documentary, Call me Salma (2010), followed the life of a transgendered teenager in Bangladesh. It aired on Arte, EBS Korea, Direct 8 and played in numerous international film festivals. Living with Giants (2016) a documentary that portrayed the life of a young Inuk won the 2016 Emerging Canadian Filmmaker (Hot Docs) Best Canadian Documentary (VIFF) and was nominated for 3 Prix Iris (2017) including best feature documentary film.

A Place of Tide and Time (2019), their second feature documentary, exposed the challenges of youth emigration of Quebec’s Lower North Shore. It premiered at Hot Docs, won best Canadian documentary at RIFFA and aired on CBC and Documentary Channel. L’Académie (2020) is the story of a basketball program from Thetford Mines. It was broadcasted on RDI and is now streaming on Tou.tv. Their most recent feature documentary Lovaganza : The Great Illusion (2022) won best Canadian documentary at RIFFA and is currently streaming on Vrai. 

Aude and Sébastien also produce and direct various video projects and advertisements for organizations, institutions and businesses.
